the poco X4 GT brings quite a few changes compared to last year and the looks are different too the back is matte this time around rather than mirror-like
Screen and touch review
the screen is a 6.6 inch IPS LCD with a 1080p resolution that hasn't changed but now you get a 144hz refresh rate instead of 120.
this means that movement on screen is that much smoother to the eye and like the previous model it can dial down to even lower than 60hz to save energy depending on what you're doing even though ,it's not an amoled there is still plenty of contrast on this display and now you also get 10 big colour and support for dolby vision,
Screen protection
this screen is protected by gorilla glass 5 rather than victims differences abound here and in addition.
Headphone jack review
the stereo speaker setup the X4 GT brings back the headphone jack which was missing last year another
Chipset review
upgrade is the chipset the X4 GT runs on a high-end mediatek demensity 8100 based on what we've seen with other phones running on this chip the performance should be significantly better than on the previous model and for thermal management there's an advanced passive cooling system here too.
Battery and charger review
the phone has a large 5060 milliamp hour battery almost the same capacity as last year and hopefully battery life is just
as good the charging should be faster though you get the same 67 watt fast charger in the box but the battery is now split in two cells which charge simultaneously using mmt technology which should improve the speed
Android version
the interface of the poco X4 GT is xiaomi's mio y13 based on android 12.
Camera review
it's straightforward and ubiquitous between xiaomi devices and finally
the cameras on the back
there's a 64 megapixel main cam
an 8 megapixel ultra wide and
a 2 megapixel macro camera
it's a pretty typical mid-range setup that looks quite similar to last year's there may be some changes in the processing though thanks in part to the new chipset
so there you have it guys between the upgraded screen and chipset and the return of the headphone jack the poco X4 GT looks like a pretty solid flagship killing package.
